Punkcore records

Just wondering what folks around here think of the bands on this label. I think they've got a pretty good lineup with bands like Action, Defiance, Lower Class Brats, Blood or Whiskey, etc. Anybody around here into that kind of stuff?

I'm not a big fan of The Casualties at all. I do like A Global Threat though. I'll say all in all I'm not overly huge on the bands on this label. I prefer Thorp's punk lineup or Hellcat's.

I like what I've heard of "The Lower Class Brats".

Action is pretty cool. I think Defiance is fucking great. Very similar to the Exploited in my mind.

There's good and bad. A lot of really cheesy stuff like The Casualties, but some good stuff too. The Lower Class Brats are great, I've known those guys forever and actually put on their first show (in a mental hospital, no less) and did backing vocals on several records. They move around a lot label-wise and the new full length is set to come out on TKO.

Punk core has it down with image and artwork. I don't really care to hear what's on the actual CD's though. :D

I'm a big fan of Action and Defiance, which are actually the only two bands on the label I've heard. But when 9 out of 10 cds I get for review are bad metalcore, a straight up punk record definitely stands out. Good stuff for sure.
