but run dmc and all the early hip hop guys always used metal riffs for the breaks
a lot harder sounding then the gay disco ones
now the real question is what was the first rap/metal song that wasn't a cover (colaberation) or a break beat... not that anyone actually cares though

and for the record, I knerw the aerosmith song with run dmc came out before the anthrax pe seong , but would nt really consider that a metal rap
crossover per say, just my opinion though.
