Walk The Line ??
anyone seen the movie yet? I am hearing nothing but good things, and the more I here about what Pheonix went through for the part, I find myself
accepting the fact that he was chosen to play the man in black. He learned to play guitar and sing bass, he still carries his notes one octave above
Cash, but not bad considering. I am going to see it this weekend and I can't wait!!!!!

I watched like a 3 or 4 hour documentary on Johnny Cash on PBS a couple weeks ago and can't remember the name of it. Little help? anyway it was
excellent and if anyone knows the name please let me know (I think it was PBS, it might have been Bravo). He's got an amazing story.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

Saw it Saturday, movie was great. A little slow towards the middle but great overall. Phoenix and Witherspoon were amazing.

I knew they would be good, I cant wait to see this!!!!!!!!!!
The only documentary I have seen recently on Cash is the one running on CMT called controversy(sp?) or something like that. It's really good though.

Mrs. Reed83 wants to see it because of the two lead actors. Mr. Reed83 has no interest.

Well, I finally saw it, and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!! By far one of the best films I have seen in a long ass time. This movie lives up to all of the hype
and then some. If you are a fan of Mr Cash, and I know we have several here, go see this you will not be dissapointed. The beginning of his musical
career is portraid well in the movie with cameos from Elvis to Jerry Lee Lewis (verry funny) and even Roy orbison, who I thought was Buddy Holly at
first. Pheonix does a splendid job and Reese Witherspoon acts as though she knew June personally. I can't say enough to talk this movie up, any fans
go..........see............enjoy. I remember Big Duane said he can't watch the Hurt video with a dry eye, well I am the same way and this movie is a
real tear jerker. Nuff said, I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeazh I took my girlfriend to see this on opening weekend and I was NOT disappointed.... I WAS ACTRUALLY REALLY IMPRESSED.... The start up of his
career, his childhood, the loos of his brother, the air force, working as a door to door salesman.... his first marriage, his daughters, SUN
RECORDS!!!!! The whole thing I was impressed by .... My girl had to continuously tell me to stop embarrassing her because me and one other person kept
singin along as well as me dancing in my chair. Jaquin Phoenix did an amazing job and REALLY looked and played the part amazingly! I am not nor have I
ever been a fan of Reese Witherspoon BUT she definately earned my respect for playing June Carter..... the whole thing REALLY impressed me and is
actually on my to buy list as soon as it comes out... Mr Cash would have been proud of the way that the movie was done!

Johnny Cash is timeless, unable to be categorized and appeals to anyone with a rebellious bone in em. I hate that he is being associated with the
"hardcore" community and especially as a trend, there is nothing trendy about Cash, the man was, is and forever will be a legend and no fag wearing
(insert dumb fucking band here) t-shirt claiming they go back with their love for Cash is gonna change that. B9 board, fuckin please.

Finally got to see this tonight with some family. Amazing movie, I'll probably go see it again and will definitely be buying the DVD. Even if the man
wasn't an awesome singer and songwriter his story is great. I read Man In Black last month and even though it's a VERY religious book, I loved it. A
lot of what he talks about in that book showed up in this movie, so for those who want a closer look at this story, pick it up.
