Trailer Park Boys

Anyone a fan of the show? It is a Canadian show so I don't know how many people will know about it here. I know there are some people from Canada on this board and it seems like this show is a HUGE thing over there (and I guess it's been out QUITE a while) but I have just learned about it a few months ago. I have seasons 1-4 on DVD and they are fucking HILLARIOUS! So, I was just wondering if anyone else is a fan or has even heard of the show.

When I first heard the title and didn't know anything about the show, I almost passed it up thinking AMERICAN trailer parks (southern trash comedy / blue collar comedy bullshit) but I checked it out and it's a fucking gem! There is TONS of quotable material from this show, especially Jim Layhey's famous "Shit Analogies".

Also, (to the Canadians) is it a HUGE show over there? From all the stuff I found about the show online, it seems like there is ALOT of fans of the show.

They used to show episodes on BBC America here in the states, but I don't think they are currently airing any.

One of the greatest shows EVER. It's huge up here. The guys who play Ricky, Bubbles and Julian do personal appearances everywhere, and they always stay in character when they do it. Fucking hilarious.

I know in the USA that BBC America has the rights to show it, but I don't know if they are currently airing any.

Its a great show and I'm pretty sure they have won Gemini awards for it (Canadian version of the Emmys).
I got Season 1-4 on DVD too & hopefully get the Xmas Special DVD for christmas. Still waiting for the other seasons to come out cuz obviously Australia doesn't have this show on air which blows.
I seriously miss Canadian comedy. Check out BUZZ too, www.darynandmo.com they are hilarious. Wish they would put out DVD seasons.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

Check out our video for streets of gold as Mr. Layhe (John Dunsworth) is in it and plays my boss. Really funny show that has a feature film being made now.
