Slapshot
I cant be the only person that wishes they would do another album. Why'd these guys call it quits?

Theres never a final word with Slapshot so who knows what they will do or when they will do it of if they will do anything. You just have to kind of
sit around and wait..... It sucks, but its better than knowing 100% that a band broke up and is all done.

to press the 12" on X-Claim.
Last Rights - Chunks 7" Euro Bootleg:

Green Swirl had the Hittler cover, Lime green has one live photo cover.

This is supose to be coming out on Reflex Records, but I dont know when or any other info.

There might also be a cassete version of this that was put out on 'Distortion Records', but Im not positive.

When you do release something new, it should rival 16 valve hate, that is your best work to date.

huh... you really think so? I like them all (yes even Blast Furnace... its not bad for what it is), but I think that Step on It is my favorite of all.
Either that or Sudden Death Overtime.

I'd have to go with my favorite Slapshot as being Sudden Death Overtime.
But one of my top three songs is there rendition of 'Big Mouth Strikes Again'. Chokes girgling yell in that song is unmatched by anyone. Even himself.
Hey Ed, make it happen man. I'd definitely enjoy more music.

Step On It. | Agreed, but sometimes I think that Back On The Map coulda been the one if it had just had a few
more songs. I also think a lot of the new versions on Greatest Hits, Slashes And Crosschecks are just as good or even better than the originals. That
doesn't usually happen, most of the times that bands try to recapture their "glory days" it ends up sounding horrible. A good example of this is that
Suicidal Tendencies record were they redid the whole first album. A few songs on there are almost OK, but most of it is fuckin' horrible.
Anyway, Slapshot has been one of my favorites since I first heard 'em back in the late 80s, so keep it together for me, Ed, OK???

16 valve hate has always been and will always be near and dear to me, it has more to do with what was going on with me in life more so than musically
comparing it to other albums.

I can hardly listen to blast furnace,I think it's horrible compared to any of their other releases (and what about that "wired" video for christ
sake)...I still have a sealed copy of Blast Furnace that I don't care to open.
I love Sudden Death and Step on it ,but 16 Valve Hate and Olde Tyme Hardcore gets the most play on my stereo, those albums are gold.I love getting
drunk and listening to Slapshot haaaahaaaaaa

I dont hate it, but I will not argue with you that its horrible compared to everything else they ever did. Especially since it was the follow up to a
record as great as Sudden Death Overtime. It was just a change in dirrection for the band. Maybe if they hadnt put out Blast Furnace, 16 valve and
Olde Tyme wouldnt be as good as they are.... There for I think we should all praise the mighty Blast Furnace!

Agreed. I don't think there's a thing wrong with Digital Warfare. Unconsciousness was just kind of boring and Blast Furnace.....well, I think somebody
was paying too much attention to the soundtracks to computer games at the time......

Just to clear things up... I like Digital warfare also (hell I like some of Blast Furnace) I just understand people who think its weak compared to
Step on It or Sudden Death Overtime.
