Childhood Movies! (top 5)

Star Wars goes without saying... (my fav always will and has been Empire!)

1. The Outsiders.
Made me want to be a greaser... I had the pomp and everything in 6th grade.
2. The Last Star Fighter.
Such an awesome movie to waste time on.
3. Flight of the navigator.
I always loved ufos and robots!
4. Princess Bride.
"As You Wish"
5. The Legend Of Hell House.
I swear to god, this movie came out in 1973, and i spent many sun mornings watching this on public T.V.

Well I guess if I dont put any of the Star Wars movies in my top five this is what it would be. *Side Note: A New Hope was always my favorite.

1. The Muppet Movie - I love all the Muppet movies. Its actually hard to pick just one. I'll say 'The Muppet Movie', but 'The Great Muppet Caper' and 'Muppets Take Manhattan' are awesome too.

2. Space Camp - Come on... I mean, who didnt want to go to space camp as a kid and then they made a movie about it!? Bad ass!

3. Raiders of the Lost Ark - Again, its hard to pick just one out of the three. As an adult 'Last Crusade' is my favorite, but being a kid you just couldnt beat the big guy getting his head chopped off by an airplane propeller and the nazi dudes face melting!

4. The Incredible Mr. Limpet - I still love this movie too, but I had a greater appreciation for it as a kid because it was only on TV once in a while. It was the first Live action + cartoons in the same movie... Fuck Roger Rabbit!

5. The Cannonball Run - Cars, Boobs, Dom DeLuise as a super hero, Dean Martin & Sammy Davis Jr. as drunk priests in a Ferrari and so many silly cameos.... to this day still an all around great movie!

2. The Chipmunk Adventure
3. The Goonies
4. The Dark Crystal
5. A Christmas Story

Spaceballs was awesome too!

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

Damn so many good choices....

Goonies is a great movie, plus Andie was hot.

Christmas Story is a classic!

I also forgot about Back to the Beach. Frankie & Annette, Dick Dale, Pee Wee & fucking Fishbone! How can you go wrong with that cast!! Plus the M.O.D. Surfin' M.O.D. Record is like an unofficial soundtrack.

Ska ska ska.... Jamacia ska!

Empire was and still is the best!!!!

1.Secret of Nimh, I had a crush on Mrs brisbee ( I know she was a cartoon, oh well)
2.Dark Crystal, Henson changed all the rules about puppetry in film with that one, it still amazes me to this day. I wanted to be a skexie.
3. Christmas story, how can this not be a favorite as a kid, they played it constantly.
4.Escape from New York, Snake Plisken was the coolest mofo on celluloid.
5. Road warrior, Mad Max was the second coolest mofo on celluloid. And Road warrior was by far the best of the three.

NICE!!! Summerschool is all about Chainsaw & Dave! I wanted to do monster make up for YEARS after seeing that movie... Hell I still do!

This is REALLY obscure, but my roommates sister is pregnant and when she goes into labor my roommates going to say...

"Save the afterbirth... and the cord... if its convient"

I think the reason these films ruled so much....
is because they could get away with just about naything, and they were all original as fuck...
no remakes, no tv sitcoms...
wait i'm bitching about movies again...

okay top 5...excluding star wars saga, (empire as tops)
1) tron, cheesey yes, but rad..I still want a lite bike, and best video game as well

2) blade runner

3) the thing...yes a remake but hella rad

4) the fog

5) anything that Elvira showed on her show in L.A. it was a friday and saturday night must see...
