Did anyone brave it???????

The dreaded BLACK FRIDAY sales? I went out with my wife to see Walk the Line and that was crazy in and of itself, I tried to leave the theater and because it was relatively close to a mall it was like driving through a war zone.

for the first time ever I went out...
been up since 4:30
spent too much, but got my daughter quite a bit of stuff...
it's not easy having a little girl turning into a young adult...
switch from barbies to more substantial gifts...
but it was woth it
the crowds weren't that bad
here in the mountains it was like any other shopping day,
everyone is too damn broke to do too much,

I would rather someone kick me in the nuts then go to the mall on this day. Way to many filthy humans in one place at one time. My anxiety couldnt take this.

thought about going out to hook up one of those laptop deals, but after looking into the fine print a bit, decided it wasn't worth it. each store had like three laptops and you had to subscribe to two years of aol to get a crappy laptop at half price. it's worth a couple extra bucks to 1)not get up at 4 in the morning, 2)shop from the comfort of my own home, and 3)decent budget laptop from a different manufacturer.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I picked up a gameboy advance SP for $50.00 instead of $80.00 at Wal Mart. But, I knew about it going on sale ahead of time, so I went and put one on layaway last week, and then picked it up on black friday for the low price ;)

i guess someone in my area threatened people with a gun cuz he wanted to be first in line at best buy. other stories included a guy i know getting to see a completely naked woman so she could cut in line....not sure if i believe him. other one was someone was trying to pick up one of the hot items before the sale started and got taken out hardcore by two security guards...damn i love the holidays!!!
