threat - movie

has anyone heard anything about this movie?

http://www.threatmovie.com/

Don't you hate when you ask someone what kind of music
they listen to and their answer is: "I listen to everything"--??

THREAT may be the first movie hatched from the NYHC scene
to get its ass a theatrical release,
but it's not just a scene movie...
THREAT's gotten a lot of support and influence
from the metal, underground hip hop, electronic,
and digital hardcore communities.
A LOT.

We decided that the best way to celebrate THREAT's
multi-subcultural legacy is to have a bunch of musicians
from all those different communities
get together and beat the shit out of each other!

So this "Music That Inspired The Movie" album pits some of
our favorite artists against one another in a cacophony of
aggressive music mash-ups and madness.

We are soooo excited that some of our truly favorite artists
have come on board and participated in this album.

The current (still tentative) tracklist is:

Killswitch Engage vs. Alec Empire
Candiria vs. Edgey
Bleeding Through vs. Hecate
Most Precious Blood vs. Defrag
The Icarus Line vs. The End
Chain Of Strength vs. Kill Memory Crash
Judge vs. Bill Youngman
Inside Out vs. Oktopus from Dalek
Gorilla Biscuits vs. Alec Empire
Youth Of Today vs. Edgey
Eighteen Visions vs. Otto Von Schirach
VOD vs. The Tyrant
Agnostic Front vs. The Heartworm
Burn vs. Daryl Palumbo from Glassjaw
Wage Of Sin vs. Mad EP
Glassjaw vs. Drop The Lime
Madball vs. Steve Austin from Today Is The Day
Minor Threat vs. Holocaust

\"thank you very little\"

I'm sorry to burst bubbles and be the naysayer here, but I really don't like the sounds of this at all, it sounds gimmicky and trendy, and I never thought I would see the day when Agnostic Front would be on the same ticket as some ragtag Misfits wannabee assholes like Bleeding Through.WOW.

Nope, sounds horrible to me. The only bands I've EVER listened to (or even wanted to listen to, out of that line up anyway) on that have been broken up for a long LONG time.
