Father Christmas by The Kinks is probably the best one I've ever heard. It's tough to beat a song about little kids threatening to beat Santa's ass. I
really fuckin' hate the vast majority of holiday music and it's usually the anti xmas stuff that I like. Headwound do a good one called Merry
Christmas, I Fucked Your Snowman, that's on a comp called Cashing In On Christmas along with a bunch of other bands doing anti xmas songs (including a
broken up band from Austin called the Dead End Cruisers covering that Kinks song I mentioned). Fear's Fuck Xmas, as mentioned, is great. I used to
have a cool Oi comp on Step One (I think) that had some great stuff on it like The Gonads, and some Psycho stuff from bands like The Frantic
Flintstones. I guess working too many years in too many different retail places has really put me off any kind of mainstream holiday music. Especially
since it usually starts before Halloween and keeps up until somethin' like February nowadays....
