A389 RECORDS MINI UPDATE 12/02/05 - SLUMLORDS/GUT INSTINCT/PULLING TEETH + MORE!

Hey everyone the site is about to go through some major renovations, so here's a quick update to hold everyone over...

***SLUMLORDS 'INVOLUNTARY SKINHEAD' PREORDERS
Quick update on this, the covers are here everything is set to go we're just waiting for the vinyl, the thanksgiving holiday set everything back a little bit. The test presses are supposed to arrive today after which the vinyl will get here and out to you in a couple of weeks. It'll be worth the wait! Thanks to everyone who came out for the 'Involuntary Skinhead' video shoot, it was a great time and some of the footage is insane (ly stupid). Look for the video to surface early in the new year. In the meantime Slumlords are locked down preparing to record the new album for Lockin' Out Records.

*** PULLING TEETH 'CANADIAN VACATION'
Pulling Teeth will be hitting the road next week for a weekend full of their favorite bands....HAYMAKER!...SHARK ATTACK!....FORWARD TO DEATH!.... Below are the remaining shows for PXT in 2005. The band will be in the studio in February recording their new 7"/CD.
12/09/2005 - Hamilton, Ontario Canada @ The Corktown Tavern w/Haymaker, Gunnar Hanson, Endless Blockade, Machete
12/10/2005 - Montreal, Quebec, Canada w/ Haymaker, SharkAttack, Iron Boots, Radical Attack, Loose Cannons, Machete
12/11/2005 - Middletown, NJ w/Forward To Death, Shapeshifter + Crippler Crossface

*** GUT INSTINCT 'DISTURBING THE PEACE' RE-ISSUE
Remixing/mastering process is complete and we're getting ready to send the masters to the plant. We will be taking pre-orders for legendary Baltimore Hardcore re-release in January. Look for an mp3 on the site soon...Disturbing The Peace!

*** A389 SET TO RELEASE HOLY GHOST (HF/RINGWORM SIDE PROJECT)
Featuring Human Furnace on vocals, Holy Ghost deliver 6 tracks of brutal Cleveland hardcore in the vein of early Ringworm meets later day Black Flag/early Neurosis. This demo was recorded in 1999, just before Ringworm's return from the grave and the band was quickly put on the backburner. Now we've teamed up with Deathwish Inc (whom will be releasing the CD version) to bring you this long lost piece of Cleveland hardcore history on 12 inches of vinyl. We will be taking pre-orders for this one in January. Look for an mp3 on the site soon!

***OTHER NEWS
We still have a few of the new Slumlords and Pulling Teeth tees/hoodies available in the webstore as well as a few new/restocked items. Please e-mail first to make sure the size you want is available. Swing by the site and check out mp3s by tons of different bands!
Check out www.a389records.com as well as www.SlumlordsEvictionCrew.com which are both in the process of being updated.
That's pretty much everything that's going to carry us over into the new year. We have some very exciting new releases in the pipeline that we are just working out some final details for. 2006 is going to be a great year! But until then, be safe and happy holidays!!!
- Dom/A389

This is one of the 7"s that got endless play in my house. Did anyone here ever get to see them live? I saw 'em once at UNISOUND in Reading, PA. Good, good shit.

I wish...a friend of mine had the 7" and I wore out the tape I had it duped on and just 3 or 4 years ago found out there was two demos along with the 7" both of which I hunted down voraciously and now covet.

Dr. Strange Records did a release a few years back Jason Government Issue: Complete History Volume 1 and 2.

I have the first volume and that has two cds, really good.
