New CULT OF LUNA This Spring
"The first recording session of the next Cult of Luna album is now complete! We spent 7 days recording mostly drums, bass and guitars in a wooden
octagon barn outside Umea. The scenery out there is seriously like in that Blair Witch movie, we even saw a 'wicca-witch type looking girl' doing some
freebase hippie dancing in the woods at one point. We think she suspected that she was be being watched so we never saw her again. Bummer.
In other words, we were in the perfect mindset to record a Cult of Luna album. Speaking of the barn itself, the big room sounds really awesome and was
the perfect place to track drums. Thomas Hedlund joined us to share his amazing drums skills, and on some songs both me (Magnus) and Thomas are
playing simultaniously...pretty fucking rad.
Most of the basic tracks were recorded live, which is a quite different approach compared to the previous albums. Expect a raw and unpolished album
this spring. Next thing to do is going into Tonteknik studios for a few days for additional recordings, like vocals, keys, noice and what not. After
that I will mix the whole thing before x-mas!"
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

i dunno saint, these guys have a really unique sound that's worth checking out, but they're pretty metal, so i don't know if you'll like em. their
songs are like 10 minutes long, at times super slow and minimal, then things build up and all this growling starts.

I saw them open for Mastodon, and I was sold immediately. Great stuff, but I dont always have the attention span for them.

She's hot, I saw them once with Cradle of filth (who sucked and I walked out on) but they were terrible and not my cup of tea, and I dont think the
saint would dig em personally, that dude is CRITICAL. and they just arent that good.

Damn, the line gets more blurry as this goes on, I give up, I saw a chick fronted metal band that sucked ass. I wont say anymore so as not to insert
my head any further up my own ass.
