Just got a gift

My sister gave me a late birthday present tonight which turned out to be the "CLASH ON BROADWAY" 3 cd set. FUCKING SWEET. I haven't gotten around to replacing my old Clash stuff onto cd for the most part, so this is perfect.

Awesome, I love that collection. It has almost every great Clash song all in one package as well as all the lyrics and a huge booklet that tells about what was going on with them when each song was written. That is my favorite box set I own.

It may just beat out Motorhead and the Misfits for my favorite.

Yeah, it easily beats The Misfits box for me, although I like all the thought that went into that one, the coffin shaped box with the red velvet lining and the enamel pin as well as the lyric booklet. I don't have a Motorhead box set though, so I can't comment on that. I do have the No Remorse double CD thing, which is really cool, but it's not even in the same league as Clash On Broadway.

The Motorhead one is called Stone Deaf Forever. It's five cd's with a big thick book with the history of each of their albums, reviews, interviews, etc.
It's fucking sweet.
