bartender friends rule
So i went toget my car outta the garage tonight cause i need it first thing in the morning, and i figured i'd stop by my friend sarah's bar to say
hello. two hours, four whiskys and four yuengling's later, i decided the car could wait till morning.
tonight's list of free bourbons included...
- Woodford Reserve
- Blanton's
- Booker's
- Basil Hayden's
i first heard of basil hayden's on deadwood. turns out they've been making bourbon since 1796.
all were delicious, but the winner was Blanton's on the rocks. damn fine.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, ?You know, I want to set those people over there on
fire, but I?m just not close enough to get the job done.? George Carlin

I used to pick a buddy up after his shift at the pub where he waited. He would always feed me then get me drunk as all hell, and then when I was too
smashed to drive he would end up giving me a ride back to his place to crash, his couch was my second home for a solid year or so. I had the car, he
had the access to free booze and bar food.
