A recommendation for you all

If you are looking for a good dvd to spend some cash on, let me suggest you all run out and buy the Real McKenzies dvd called Pissed Tae Th' Gills. I was bored earlier and threw this on for the first time in quite awhile. Great live band, and it's a lot of fun to watch. It's a tribute to the great Scottish bard Robbie Burns. Tons on fun and has a couple of videos as extras. They do the celtic thing better than DKM, Floggong Molly, The Tossers, or anybody else in my oh so humble opinion (and they came around before all those bands. Go buy it, you won't forget it.

Listen to the Drunken Monkey!

I have that CD, but I've never seen the DVD of it. I fucking love The Real McKenzies, even if you took away the Celtic thing, they'd still be a great band, add it in there and they're amazing.

Hell yes they do. I know I saw 'em every time they played Austin before I moved. I'd definitely hit Albuquerque if I knew they were coming (since I know they won't be coming anywhere closer to me than that), even if it is about three and a half hours...

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only McKenzies fan out there.

Great band - saw them live a couple of times - awsome shows - last time they had "far from finished" as support which made a good job!! Paul Mckenzie is going to be 50 years old - if im that fit if im 50 i would be glad. Must have the dvd

Loudest band I've ever seen, and I've seen Motorhead. Great bunch of guys, Pauls a fucking madman. ALL MY FRIENDS ARE BASTARDS!

Loch'd and Loaded is the best, my first album by them and then clash of the tartans, damn good band. Anyone heard the big bad bollocks? They rule for the Celt thing too.

I dunno, I think so. Seemed the best way to describe them.
