Everything Jasta!
Huge Jasta Interview for you all to enjoy. I actually learned that Evan from Biohazard was up for the Headbanger's gig.
http://www.lambgoat.com/features/interviews/hatebreed.aspx
I had to post this because I know how much Jasta is loved here.

Not by me. I dont know what it is, but something about him just bugs me for some reason. I might read the interview if they talk about other people in
it.

Oh... My bad! I know a bunch of people that are really into Hatebreed and I know people are psyched on the Icepick record so I didnt know if a bunch
of people here really liked him.

Lambgoat.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

SOmething about making music to appeal to differnet people makes me feel used for liking hatebreed. Hardcore and punk rock are no longer if you make a
sound just to make a sound .

I was being sarcastic in my first post but I will admit to being a Hatebreed fan. I have met Jamey a few times and he's always been a real good guy.

i understand why some think he is too involved but seeing them last month convinced me that his heart is in the right place cuz he still gives his all
when they play and besides that, headbangers ball is about as good as it gets for "heavy" music these days as far as mtv and tv in general

Fuck that piece of human waste. Fuck his shitty band and all the shit he's done to make worthwhile bands sound like his shitty band. Fuck his show and
all the kids who think he's the real deal. Anyone who has done that much to turn Hard Core into a subgenre of metal and a marketing tool gets nothing
but hate from me.

send that hate right over here.....if any band that is copying him is worth their weight in shit, they wouldnt be copying him so i think that all he
is doing is giving hardcore a voice to a new generation that is too naive to know the difference between my chemical romance and any other band out
there....but bring the hate

understanding you? If so, you've got a pretty fucked idea of Hard Core. And I'll be happy to spread hate any direction you want. I am the undefeated
champ of the sadly defunct ring, after all.

Agnostic Front is awesoem, but have made some shitty decisions musically as of late. I always have hope they will regain their composure and make it
all better again. Until then, I have Roger Miret and the Disasters, and the Stigma album sounds good so far.

as a member of a band that only a few people care about (Clenched Fist), I can honestly say that Jamey Hatebreed has never done anything but try to
help us out. And I'm talking about going back many years now. From the time they were putting out demos and playing for 50 people til now he has
always been helpful towards us. You'd probably hear the same story from a lot of bands that are on our level. I mean I'm not gonna say I think
Headbanger's Ball is the coolest thing ever nor do I think being on Ozzfest is awesome but I absolutely cannot take away from the fact that he looks
out for smaller bands.
I do agree that hardcore is overblown and overexposed right now but the shitty effects are only temporary. There will be good kids that come from
seeing hardcore on MTV and Ozzfest. What made me look for hardcore was seeing Biohazard's "Shades of Grey" video on Headbanger's Ball in 1993...now
I've played in a hardcore band for 10 years, done tours, put on shows, zines, the whole deal. Give it another 5 years and shit will die down and the
cream of the current scene will rise to the top.

i was saying that to be anything, you have to do your own thing and most bands that just copy hatebreed are going to fall by the wayside, and to be so
angry towards jamy for putting hardcore and heavy music on the map with his tv show and his name in general is just being naive. unless you want
hardcore to be for "the insiders" you have to embrace someone who came from obscurity and made a huge name for himself and his band(s), he isn't
saying, be like my band, he is just putting out some options for new people to listen to, thats just how i feel

not good for Hard Core. I'm not interested in getting more people into it by watering it down and taking away the things that make it great. Maybe he
is a great guy who really wants to do good things for HC bands and the scene in general. I don't personally know him and I haven't seen his band in a
long long time, so what I'm saying is not anything personal, it's just my general attitude toward the results of his actions, if that makes sense. I'm
not trying to piss anyone off, although it really doesn't make much difference to me if I step on toes. Basically, I hate what HC has become and I
lay a lot of the blame for that at the feet of people like Jasta and bands like Hatebreed. I know I'm very much in the minority as far as the scene is
concerned, and that's all well and good, but I'm not going anywhere since I think one thing it really needs is crusty old fucks to tell all the kids
where this thing came from and what it's really about instead of letting it fade away into another gimmick to use to sell something to kids.

i completely understand where you're coming from and i can agree, i guess im looking at it from the standpoint of where hardcore is at the present
time and where its probably going to eventually end up. i just think that someone like jamy that has been in a band that was relatively unknown and is
now very popular, can understand where up and coming bands are coming from. i know that hatebreed has been like nirvana, inspiring a ton of new bands
to be "metalcore" but thats not their fault. i think he has taken on the role of spokesman for this generations "heavy music" and i back him on that
cuz he is still putting out alot of releases with different sounds, (kingdom of sorrow, and icepick) but still sticking to his guns in hatebreed...i
dont know, but im not trying to piss anyone off either, you're my boy blue!!!!!

i liked the hell out of the last record
i used to dig headbangers
now i cant sit through it without surfing
maybe all of these things are just necesary evils......

i am a hatebreed fan, and i have been long
before ozzfest or headbangers ball.
i very rarely watch the ball, but i do catch some of it once in awhile.
most of the stuff on there is crap, but occasionally there will be
something cool on there. i just dont understand why people talk shit
about him being on there. i'd rather see him then just some random
tool who knows nothing about hard music.
to me Jamey just seems like a hard working guy, between
his bands
the ball
his label
and like joel said he looks out for other bands.
hes ok in my book
\"thank you very little\"

Oh and Discipline, I am a CF fan too. I just had no idea Juicy was in it. CF is great.

You bet Man. What is the latest with you guys. Headed to St. Louis any time soon? If so, count my ass in. What part of memphis are you in? I used
to go there for work all the time. I'm pretty familiar with Downtown and then all the way out to Germantown and parts of the "Warehouse District".
Whenever I was in Memphis there was always a shit load of people headed into the downtown police station/courthouse. I remember seeing 5 cop cars
with "passengers" waiting in line to pull in and get them booked. Crazy shit.
One other side note. I was by the Marriott downtown jogging to Mud Island and a guy pulled up in a small pick up truck and threw a praying mantis at
me. NO JOKE! A FUCKING PRAYING MANTIS. I nearly shit myself. He drove away and was laughing. It was fucked up.
