First of all, Motorhead are their own genre. Tons of bands from all different kindsa genres rip 'em off, but that does not detract from Motorhead's
legacy.
Secondly, Metal is the cheesiest shit known to man. It makes me physically ill. There are a couple of bands that are good just because they're so
ridiculous, Venom being a prime example, but as a whole Metal is unlistenable.

I hate 'em both. Some (as in very fuckin' little) Sabbath is tolerable as
background noise, but Slayer is pure shit. I've always hated that fuckin' band and always will. That cover album where they mangled a bunch of old HC

juan, in terms of metal... Relapse Records. It's behind a cheese steak joint across from a falafel joint, and just down the street is Noise Pollution.
Now, the over-sensitive RASH kids will say that Noise Pollution is to be boycotted because they've been known to sell WP shit in there... but frankly,
they've got a great hardcore/punk used selection and a good selection of vinyl too. Last time I was in there I saw a first pressing Stars & Stripes LP
for 40 bucks. I'm no collector, and that was way too rich for my blood just to pick it up to have it. But pretty good store. Great selection of metal,
including vinyl, too.

yeah i walked by noise polution yesterday but they looked closed or closed for good...i havent been down there much latley

I'd rather listen to most of the newer metal bands than most of the newer HC bands and thats not saying much. At least the metal scene isn't mucked
out by paper gangstas and drama queens. Theres morons as well as solid people everywhere but in metal people are primarily concenred with the music
whereas in hardcore theyre concerned with everything except the music.
