speaking of howard...

i was driving in NYC on tuesday, and i was able to hear his show on regular fm radio. is someone still rernunning old shows? do the satelites on the sirrius building leak fm signals?

i had just switched off my ipod's fm transmitter, and on 87.9, you could hear it, it was definitely him. sounded like shit, but it was him.

The Sirius car systems have built in FM transmitters so you were probably picking up the signal from someone that was driving near you. Pretty awesome!

They had a story one day that a guy was listening to Howard and a guy in a car next to him got out and started screaming at the other guy cause the signal was coming in his car and he didnt understand how. The guy that was pissed had a young kid with him and Howard was aparently doing something 'obscene' at the time.

that makes sense. 87.9 is typically an unused frequency, so it's a common selection for people with fm transmitters. awesome.

whats ironic about my signal, its 88.1 and the normal programming on it is a religious channel so as i turn off howard doing his usual stuff, i get someone reading bible passages...
