Ramallah

Does anyone else have a problem with their Ramallah cd.
When I try to burn it it wont show up. And on some cd players it wont play.

did you buy it from the thorp store?
a handful of the ones sold through our site were defective. write to andy, tell him who you are and give him your address, and he'll send you another one.
but then you have to promise you won't try to burn it for anyone.

small bands like Ramallah need record sales to survive,if someone wants the album, let them buy a copy.

that was kind of a joke on my part, cause i recognize just how much sharing goes on these days. but spoiler is right, bands like ramallah need all the support they can get.

crazyfists - same goes for you as for dak. just write to andy at thorprecords dot com

Thats cool man,I just know that alot of people pass out burnt copies of a bands disc to friends...and in turn the band loses sales.I could give a shit about the bigger bands....but the smaller bands need all the help they can get.My bad if I was quick to judge.

there are different sides to this issue, though. This one band I like to see, Hub City Stompers ( NJ ska with some former members of Inspecter 7), doesn't mind. When I was buying some merch from them, I admitted to the lead singer that I copied their CDs for my girlfriend, and he didn't seem to mind. In fact, he said he was glad as long as their name was getting more exposure and they were getting new fans. So as far as the issue with burning CDs of smaller bands, I can understand both sides of the issue. But as you said, fuck the bigger bands.

Just sayin.
