Dropkick Murphys latest tour

So I go last night to see this show, and the Tossers tear it up, the Horrorpops (who I really went to see the most) were AMAZING, they sounded perfect and had all kinds of energy, if it werent for Sick of it All the pops would have stolen that whole show. SOIA was as good as always and played a ton of older tunes, they kept making cracks about how the songs they were playing were older than most kids in the crowd, it was pretty funny. The Murphys............ahhhhh the Murphys. They were bad, I mean really bad. They sounded like shit and just werent up to par with past performances I have seen. I was real dissapointed in them and I was hoping this show would get me into the new album some more, if anything it turned me off to it even more. I left for home 4 songs into them because it was pissing me off. And just sos you all know, the Norva is considered one of the best large club venues in the country in every aspect including the acoustics and sound, so they had no excuse except they were eating shit last night. If you are going to see this show in your area, I hope they sound better for ya. I actually said fuck the murphys for the first time in my life last night, and I will be hard pressed to purchase anything else from them unless they put a fresh spin on there writing and stop letting kens fat old ass sing so much.

I saw the Cohnan Obrien performance a couple nights ago. they sounded alright but I guess after SOIA any band would sound bad. A few months ago I saw SOIA and then Pennywise and I like Pennywise. I left early too. Pennywise can't hold a stick to SOIA.

I'm headed to the STL show on 3-13. I can't wait. I haven't heard the Horror Pops or Tossers so I'm excited. I'm actually taking my brother-in-law who is aMurphs fan. I'm there for good ol SOIA. I'm stoked.

Are the horropops doing all dated?

I'm catching this tour in MD on the 15th.

NOONE HOLDS A CANDLE TO SOIA'S PERFORMANCE LEVEL.
...And I remember when they got signed to Fat Wreck, they wanted to tour but not headline. They ended up headlining there own tour because they couldnt find anyone who wanted to play after them. (true story)

yeah, they were impressive, very genuine. I definitley liked em, I think their latest release on Victory is my least favorite of their albums. If you want to check em out for the first time i recommend Long Dim Road.

That tour sounds awesome. Four great bands. Sucks that the Murphy's were having an off night. Every time I've seen them it's been amazing. But I wouldn't want to have to play after SOIA. They are too hard to top.

It's kind of like when I saw Hatebreed play after Madball. I like Hatebreed a lot, but after Madball's performance which was pure energy and fun, Hatebreed just seemed so boring. I left halfway through their set.
