I wanted to start a black metal band called Upon broken wings once... then years later I heard about On Broken Wings... it was a trip.
I wanted to do a thrash band with some other Muslims and call it Hazrat and then I wanted to do a straight edge Muslim band and call it Mustaqim(that
means "straight" in Arabic). Corny I know.
Right now I think I'm getting ready to start an oi-core band sort of and we're going to call it Faith & Anger.

It was the first one he did called No More Cocoons, I think it was put out in 87.
He was saying that a lot of people ask him for ideas for band names and he makes fun of that. He came up with some good ones though. All I can
remember right now is:

plus tons more. Comes up with an idea for an Islamic speed metal band an did a whole bit on it. Fucking priceless.

When I was about 13 and I got my first bass me and my friends had a band called RAID. It was long before we had ever heard of the Vegan/Edge band
RAID. We actually picked RAID because we were young and stupid and figured that Black Flag was a bug spray and they kicked ass so we would be RAID
since it was the other major bug spray.
After that we changed our name to DOUBLE BOGEY and we used crossed golg clubs as our logo... Hahahaha... holy Slapshot rip off!
