suicide

Has anyone ever had to deal with this from a close friend or family member? if it was unsuccesful was it a cry for help that worked? What were the consiquences that the person had to deal with?

Sorry for a heavy topic on a Sunday morning.

My aunt commited suicide in 2002,3 years later on the exact same day,my uncle, who was also her twin brother, killed himself. My uncle had tried to call me several times the day before, but I didn't feel like talking,so I didn't answer the phone...maybe He'd still be here if I had of answered the phone.

I also had a close friend kill himself. He also tried to talk to me,but I was in a hurry that day, and as a joke,on the way out the door I told him to quit his fucking whining.... I had no idea it was that bad...I wish I had of took a few minutes to talk to my friend...I'll never get over that. JASON R.I.P. Brother.

I had one of my friends take himself out when I was younger. We were all in our mid to late teens, and our friend was always a real cool guy. Last time I saw him was at this coffee shop hang out at like 2am. He had gotten a fresh tatt that night and was all sorts of excited. The colors we amazing. We talked about his tatt, and brujeria. Two days later I got the word that his grandfather found him in the garage, he had hung himself. Two days after that I was attending my friends funeral. I lost a lot of close friends in my day. But he is the only one from suicide. Its probably the toughest one to deal with. You always have the question of what more could I have done. That feeling doesnt go away. I have come to terms that we go thru life, each of us. You never know to expect something like that. You just keep going and stay thankful for the time you had with that paticular angel.

When I was 14 a freind who was 19 commited suicide. She was this pretty hot punk chick that always hung out with everyone. She drove me to the first Lollapalooza and bought my first hit of acid for me. She was cool. Ended up taking a shitload of pills to intentionally kill herself. Before she passed she begged not to die according to her mother. Unfortunately the pills were fatal. That really sucked. After the wake I puked and could not go to the funeral the next moring. I was too freaked out.

Also last summer a good friend of mine from highschool died supposedly in his sleep. I still am not 100% on how he died but I believe it was a overdose. Intentional or not OD'ing is suicide.

Back in '99 this young kid I started a band with was always talking about killing himself. He was real depressed because his parents were real strict Christians and he just wasn't into the whole thing... he never went through with it... but it was a real bummer to have him always talking like that. Did our best(the band members) to cheer him up and shit... all I know is that he's still alive and rockin'.

My uncle supposedly killed himself... he had a major gambling problem... stole from his siblings(including my mother) when they were kids, and then prior to his suicide he maxed out a credit card he'd gotten in his son's name. One of my aunts who was really close to him seems to think that he was whacked for not paying his debts back to the mob. Not sure if there's any truth to that though. His death didn't affect me too much, or my mother for that matter, I guess he'd done so much bad to his brothers and sisters, children and his own mother to pay for his gambling that the love wasn't really there anymore.

i've never really had to deal with it and i'm so thankful. reading these other stories is just so sad. there is a girl at my work who comes in and weekly pulls me aside to tell me that she often thinks about crashing her car ino trees? i don't know what to do. she won't ever tell me anything else and she's always crying for attenion in other ways, so i'm sure it's the same.. but it scares the shit out of me. last time she did it, i told our human resources person and they had to do all of this routine stuff. but everything is back to normal again and it's like everyone forgot except me.

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

This is heavy. We all have a path to walk. I like to think those that went young were just finished, like the kid that always put his pencil down first.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?
