My VERY SHORT vacation to North Carolina

Well, some of you know I was going on a trip to NC for a few days. My flight left this morning at 8:40am and my rental car was in Charlotte for pick up at 2:00pm.

Well, most of you know that I also got a tattoo on Monday night. Since most of you have tattoos you probably know that there is a short form to fill out and they take a photocopy of your drivers license.

So I get my tattoo no problems everythings great. I goto work Tuesday no problems. Get home Tuesday night eat dinner, pack and make sure I'm all set. I get up at 5:30 this morning and my dad picks me up at 6:00 to drive me to the airport shuttle. I get my $20 roundtrip bus ticket and get on the bus. No problems.

I get to the airport with plenty of time to spare. I head to the Delta area and take out my flight conformation. I open my wallet and head to the counter, Problem! No license in my wallet! Its still on the copy machine at the tattoo parlor about 65 miles from the airport. I can take a flight at 12:30pm for a $25 ticket change fee and could get home and back to the airport in that time. I have a passport at home and that will get me on the plane. However it will NOT get me in a rental car once I get to Charlotte and the tattoo parlor doesnt open until 1:00, 1/2 hour AFTER the plane leaves.

I canceled the rental car with no fee, but now I have about a $130 credit with Delta and a $130 credit with US Airways. I have a year to use them, but theres an additional $50 fee for changing flights when I do use them.

Now I'm out of work for 5 days with nothing to do, no plans and even more disgusted and depressed then I was yesterday. Just seems like I can't do much of anything that turns out right lately. *sigh :(

Seriously, hop in the car, get outta town. Go see some shows, visit some cities you've never seen, get another tattoo, chase some girls. Just get the fuck outta the house.
