I started playing a tape in my car the other day that had a bunch of old Austin bands on it, one of my favorite is this band called The Chumps. They were just fucked up Rock 'n Roll from a bunch of crazy motherfuckers. Shows were seriously like watching a trainwreck for thirty or fortyfive minutes straight. The records are all so good. Anyway, the day after I started playing that tape, I was alerted to the fact that someone had started a tribute page for them on myspace. So far there's no songs up there, but there's pictures and some stories up there....

I made a new tape tonight with the two seven inches and one full length they put out and I've played it about five times in a row now. Gotta figure out what else can fill out the rest of the space on the tape now....

Oh, I've also been listening to The Blue Bloods first CD, the Beowulf reissue CD, the newest edition of Old Skars & Upstarts, The Bones - Straight Flush Ghetto, the Slumlords/NRSV split CD, and of course, The Welch Boys, U.S. Bombs, and Mad Sin.

I primarily listen to Sirius radio since I got it. Either the Howard Stern stations, Hard Attack (metal), Outlaw Country or Faction (punk). Other than that my playlist has been....

BFB - Outlaw Anthems
Slapshot - Step On It
Slayer Tribute - Covered in Blood
SOIA - the new one

Since I got the cd's last week I've been listening to The Generators and Far From Finished a whole hell of a lot.

Can't wait till my package from SGR gets here so I can finally listen to Kings Of Nuthin, Mad Sin, and The Welch Boys.
