This bio made me laugh
Vietnom
This comes off sounding both lame and contrived to me. Alsmost as lame as spelling the band's name as Vietnom.

I think they're horribly shitty, music and name. But that bio cracks me up, in that they try so hard to make them sound like hawdco' gangsta's.
Fuckin sad.

I think the word Trite comes to mind.
Here is the definition of the word. You be the judge.
Lacking power to evoke interest through overuse or repetition; hackneyed.
Archaic. Frayed or worn out by use.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Fucking ridiculous. I'm not gonna waste my time digging through to see what bands are affiliated with that Pitchfork shit, but from what little I do
know about it, it's moronic bullshit. Take the gangsta bullshit and get the fuck out of the scene.

I have a pitchfork shirt that I got for free when I pre-ordered Madball's Legacy album. Wouldn't actually pay money for it.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I dont like the bio...
I have pitchfork shirts because I like not only supporting bands and labels by wearing their shit but underground clothing lines because you can
forget wearing anything mainstream. I have my own clothing line too.
I like Vietnom, they have some good songs. Not everyones thing, I also listen to some hiphop. So it works.
Theres NOTHING wrong with street influenced hardcore. I dont understand why you bitch about it. People who listen to hiphop / play hiphop and listen
to hardcore/ play hardcore and might actually be thugs cant represent that anymore? It's a different scene all together, they are just havin a good
time and I doubt they are getting in anyones way. Still with their DMS brotherhood. Nothing wrong, yeah they say DMS a hella lot and its annoying,
least Madball doesnt do it that much, but they do it enough too. Just letting their shit be known they are very proud of who they are and how they
live, growing up on the streets dealin with times their way. "Right or wong"
PS - If any of you like or liked Out To Win * Mushmouth, Strength For A Reason, Wisdom In Chains, Fury of FIve, Knuckledust, Boxcutter, In The Eys Of,
Not Without Resistance they you must realize they do the same thing, only its BFL/LBU crews but slightly less hiphop/gangster and more 'hardcore'
toughguy than DMS is. Different areas.

Yeah, other than some Fury of Five stuff, I don't like any of those bands. As for the thug shit, it's the gangbanger menatality that started the end
of hardcore. That shit fucked up shows, clubs, fans, etc. It all bullshit posturing.

I love Vietnom, and I love all the gangster hardcore as well. I like fights at shows, and what have you. I am a violent person so this type of
hardcore strikes a nerve with me. I can only listen to so many fucking songs about, unity, the scene, how some friend sold out straight edge, or how
all the bands are now sell outs. bla bla bla maybe you could use a good ol fashioned ass kicking.
By the way the bio was gay as hell.

i can't believe someone actually likes/wants to see fights at shows, that's the last thing any scene or music needs. who wants to go to a show and
worry that they're going to get the shit kicked out of them just standing there watching a band they like. i'm not talking about "moshing" and
whatnot, i mean these pointless fights brought on by nothing more than meatheads that get off on beating somebody up, that really is a fucked up
mentality. i love this band so i'll kick the shit out of someone for them...i'll just stay home then...

Some definetly is bullshit posturing but not all..
I dont think so at least,
I think this over done posi shit is a load of crap. All the popular shit know what im talkin about..moreover, all this new mosh shit and the new
hiphop-hardcore influence that the youth scene kids are getting into is still just as fucked up, but none of it is real to any extent!
Dumb motherfuckers looking to start fights at shows need to be dealt with. The end.
Some of these thugcore heads are real thugs.... otherwise they would quickly be recognized as fakes and I'm sure wouldn't be around long. Thugs can
play hardcore their way too, but it's not often at least, that I've seen, that the shows have been combined with those types of hardcore bands and
others, they stick to their own usually.
If someone is are into gangster shit it doesnt mean they are an idiot and will do this shit people speak of. There are morons everywhere right, and I
would much rather toss the blame at a drunk jock kid that likes to throw his weight around at people smaller than him. Because I see that alot more.
Not a drunk thug who doesnt actually need to try to prove himself if hes got a little but of a head on his shoulders
and for.. Toronto is fucked up, seriously. It's allllll hypocrite douche burbs kids, thats not hardcore to me.
anyways its not important, we all like what we like and shows in toronto i think should have more violence and less talk about commiting violent acts
on message boards.
feel me?

Hardcore is hardcore. Fuck all the fighting and drama. It's bullshit. I've been in this scene since 1989 and I have senn tooo many fights and to many
gay ass stories to last a lifetime. Everyone needs to get over themselves. Funny thing is all the ones starting fights back when I was gettin into the
scene have been gone since around 1992. then we got a new crop of assholes that replaced them. They lasted til about 1995. Then a new crop that lasted
until 1999. And so on. Fact is all those "tough guize" were never hardcore. they wer never into the music. they were like a bacteria infection. Take
some anitbiotics and they are gone like the wind. In fact I have ran into some of those people over the years and they have no idea what bands they
even saw live or who they were fighting. Its actually funny when you think of it.
Fighting does not make you hardcore. Doing roundhouse kicks at shows does not make you hardcore. Saying your hardcore does not make you hardcore. That
shit is deep inside you and you know it when you don't have to where that flag around.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.
