for the life of me i can't figure out why every suburban herb wants to be a "thug" in the hardcore scene these days.
There are some people I just wouldn't fuck with in hardcore, but there are others that I see right through and can't help but laugh. All these fucking
new jacks with pants droppin' down their ass and the same ball caps with straight bills cocked to the side. Bullshit. It's all bullshit to me. These
are kids that have never had to struggle for anything in their lives and the just look like baffoons.
Of course, I also hate all the posi-core "I'm better than you because I'm posi" faggots who run around with the same camo cut-off shorts and walk like
they've got a dick in their asses. Or the emo kids with their retarded hair cuts and girl pants.
Goddamn it, I hate just about everyone in hardcore these days.

I don't mind fights at shows if there's a legitimate reason for them, but how often does that happen? Maybe one fight out of a thousand is about
something real. I'll fight if I need to, I'll back up my shit and make sure good people don't get jumped or beaten over stupid shit, but I won't join
any fucking crew or play at being the hardest of the hard, I'm more than happy to leave that stupid shit to the MTV hip hop kids.
I have a huge problem with braindead "gangstas" who think HC is all about being the toughest guy around, carrying guns and knives to shows, beating
kids senseless for not "respecting" their so called crew, and living like the MTV image of gangsta rappers. There's not a single thing about that
lifestyle that has anything to do with HC. Playing shitty beats and trying to rap doesn't work in the context of HC, that shit is called Nu-Metal and
is fucking worthless. In the words of Choke, crossover sucks.
I have no respect for any of the bands involved in that kind of shit, and even less for the "crews" they run with. And yeah, Endera, that includes
that whole list you rattled off, there's not a single band on there that is worth half of a day old dog turd. These fuckers need to realize that
they're never gonna make it in the rap scene and all their "reprazentin" to the contrary, they sure as fuck aren't HC kids.
Don't try to pretend that the only choice here is between this bullshit and the fucking posi scene. That shit is worthless as well and I'm not even
gonna get started on what a waste it is. There are still some real bands playing real HC that has nothing to do with either of those scenes.
Personally, I see both of them as being fucking parasites sucking the last drops out of a dying scene before it goes completely cold.

Not to sound like a broken record talking about the same bands over and over, but I think SLAPSHOT falls into the catagory of bands playing real HC
and not being in a scene or crew or any of that!

Thug Core is my fav. what can I say? Truth is I also like bands like Brand New, so it is not all hate all the time for me here. Fights are great, I
have been fighting all my life, its just part of me now I guess. Like I give a fuck about crews or any of that shit, hell I dont even go to shows
anymore, I just always have and always will love hardcore. I would rather spend my money on bottle service at a nightclub with hot assed chics all
over the place instead of stinky shitty rat clubs with more cock than a gay bar and bitches that look like water buffalos. I must be crazy or
something.

I don't mind crews, it's just fucked up when crews start to cross over into criminal outfits with criminal intentions and fuckin running shit like the
mafia or the Hell's Angels and shit like that. Crews have always been in hardcore punk and oi and that's fine and all. I understand that shit to a
degree.... but sometimes shit gets out of hand... and right now ever kid wants to be a thug for some reason... without realizing that real thugs are
such because they had to be(kind of) and the thug life certainly isn't what THOSE dudes want for their kids.

I'm not so much against crews that are just friends watching out for each other and trying to make a decent scene. Unfortunately, that seems to turn
into gang mentality too often, but definitely not always. What I know of GAMC gives me hope that there are still some good people doing the crew
thing.
