i just saved a bunch of $ on car insurance.

i recently bought a new car, and my insurance went up.
( it only went up like $92 with the new car but it was already high )

i have no accidents and one ticket
(which was 7 years ago, so its not on my record)

i was paying $2321 with liberty mutual.

i went on a website called insurance.com, where they take your info and
get you quotes from multiple companies.

i got a policy with the exact same coverage #s i had before
for only $1496 with Travelers Insurance

saved me $825

http://insurance.com/

i was filling out the stuff online and then a pop up
came up saying i could call now to talk to a rep.
they gave me 4 quotes within a couple minutes.
two were a little cheaper then i was paying & and two were alot cheaper.

i wouldnt definitely reccomend checking it out.
it doesnt take long at all.

and the company gets nothing from you ( its free for you),
they get a commission from the company you sign with.

PS. Jersey is terrible for car insurance.

Well, neither is Queens. I was paying $3000/year when I first got here because stupid me got into an accident the day I was moving here, and I still had a speeding ticket on my record. Both are now off and my insurance went down, but Im always on the lookout for a lower rate. I need all the money I can get to pay for this wedding!

you can save by combining your car insurance with say renter's or home-owner's insurance as well.

we have drive from progressive. i think it was $700 for six months, but that was high because we don't have a history of insurability (didn't have a car in nyc). we'll get new quotes when this coverage expires, and it should come down a bit.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I have progressive now too. My policy is up at the end of June and they just sent me the new policy. It didnt go down a penny from the last one. I was really hoping for at least $100 less.

check that site before your new policy renews,
you might get a discount for shopping ahead.

The best quote by far was E-surance. Insurance.com gave a rating, and they got an A so that's cool. I really dont know much about different insurance companies, and I dont make many claims so Im not too worried. All I wanna do is save money!

not sure that trying to save $ makes me a pussy....

either way its better than being a jackass that pays $7600 for insurance.
