Special request for the comic collectors

I'm trying to catch up on back issues of The Goon (Darkhorse comics) If any of you know where I can get #1-10, 12 and 16 and possibly the 4 action figures made by Mezco, I would be eternally gratefull??

I love that comic. I only have one trade paperback/graphic novel thing though. This town is so fuckin' small there's not even a comic shop here. I dunno that I need to start ordering comics online though. Might be best to keep my online shopping to a minimum.

oh shit........
see my little mountain town also has no comic shop...
so I have a wholesale account with diamond comics...
we had plans of opening a shop here but we don't want to live here that long....

but my current account is for trade paperbacks and merch/toys

I can't get single issues unless I want to make a minimum order each month....
and since I don't know that many folks here I don't fuck with it, but I could

but we get about 35-40% off cover price....
we also find out and order 3 months in advance...

anyhow who wants what we can set up a buyers group and pass my discount on to you all...
makes my company standing look better and you al lget what you want cheap....

i need to cover 200 retail a month
it can come from anyting
so like 8 dvd's are enough

on toys and merch it's anywherer from 35-50% off retail

here's a link to it
http://www.diamondcomics.com/

once a month I get a 500 page catalog called previews
it covers everything you would find in a comic shop

every week I get a clearance list as well
stuff is like 90% but doesn't count towards the 200.00

I can do 100.00 on my own just for stuff I want
just a few people could make this sweet...

steve - not that you have all kinds of free time to kill, but i'm sure you could organize a buying coop among thorp board members alone. split the discount, and everyone wins.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

yeah this is what I am thinking about
the biggest problem I can forsee is getting everyone a copy of previews every month
so they can see what is coming out so they can order
but yes I am willing to give up the discount to anyone in the thorp family

That shouldnt be a problem. I get it every month from my comic shop. I get it free for having a subscription, but you can buy it at just about any shop.

I would definitly like to be part of this!

well anyone who can't get it every month...(the saint) I could mail a copy to....
if there is seriuos intrest we could do this

another perk of buying 3 months in advance of shipping is you don't have to pay unitl they ship
so you have time to save....
but if you don't pay and I have to pay for you....
well no one would do that....

we'll need to figure out a list of everyone into comics who wants to do this
and I'll get with my sales rep to see about upgrading the account to single issues

I dont have a problem getting comics, but it would be pretty sweet to get 40% off of the toys and collectibles!
