Full Blown Chaos singer bitten by black widow
Official press release:
After a great show in Ft. Lauderdale, Full Blown Chaos went back to their hotel room to party. Vocalist Ray Mazzola states, "I had a couple of large
Jager beverages and passed out on the floor of the room." The next day Ray felt a lingering pain in his knee. "I have never felt such a sense of inner
blight," says FBC's frontman. Still not missing the show that night, Ray became immobilized after their set and "took a bunch of antihistamines to
bring the cantaloupe sized swelling down." Ray continued to feel soreness and cramping in his joints/muscles. He felt his blood boiling and having
fever, nausea, sweats, and shakes.
With concern, Ray asked nature buff Gary Holt of Exodus to take a look at his knee. Gary instantly told Ray that he was bitten by a black widow. After
going to the hospital, Ray found out the truth to Gary's claim. He was bitten by a Southern Black Widow in his sleep. Too late to receive treatment,
Ray had to endure the symptoms and deal with sporatic pain and stiffness. With all this pain, FBC only missed two Canadian dates to follow up with the
doctor. In conclusion, Ray states, "fuck spiders."
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Dude that is bad ass. I hate spiders. I am suprised they make you endure the pain if you get to it too late. Besides I thought you could die from
those bites if it goes untreated?

He's a big dude (from what I hear) so perhaps that's why it's wasnt fatal. I think that kids and babies can die from a bite though.
I saw a show on spiders on animal planet once and this lady got bitten on her finger by a spider and got it immediately treated. Her flesh was
rotting near the bite so they cut the affected area off. Over time the left over flesh that hadnt looked affected started to rot and she eventually
had to get her finger amputated. When they taped that interview the bite had happened maybe a year prior and her amputation maybe 6 months prior,
and more flesh on her hand was still becoming affected. FUCKED UP! Im not sure if the doctors know when her flesh will stop deteriorating. After
they cut off her arm? Weird freaky shit. I think that happend in the outback of Australia. Lots of venomous snakes and other creatures out there.

I think the Brown Reclus is the spider that causes your skin to rot when it bites
you...a guy I work with was biten on the face by one,and they had to cut away a small chunk of skin from around the bite.

knew he had'nt been bitten by a widow..hate shit talkers just wanna call them out,but sometimes ya gotta bite your tounge..one those guys that was a
navy seal..a brown recluse will fuck ya up as well a freind of mine in jr high got bit on the knee.the docs thought they were gonna have to amputate
his leg knee down.i also heard thta the poison can come back from time to time,and rot skin again.i fucking hate spiders.
