Is this rude?
I'm on the train this morning and some lady (mid-40's) fell asleep on my arm. I nudged her a couple of times and she didn't wake up, so launched her
off my arm. She and her daughter, who was seated a few seats down, started yelling at me. The mother is screaming at me in chinese and the daughter
in english. The daughter was claiming I assulted her mother. What the fuck? Her stupid ass fell asleep on my arm and wouldn't wake up. How am I
the bad guy. I did manage to piss off a large number of people around me cause I told the mother that if she can't speak english she doesn't get an
opinion. They really pissed me off.

That would piss me off too, but I dont think Im the kind of person that would really launch a person. I probably would have found a way to wake her
up and tell her to move. Falling asleep on someone is rude though. Ive had people who were standing next to me while Im seated rest their books on
my head... or ladies have their bags right in my face. I usually push them away in an unfriendly fashion.

along those lines, i'll say that another thing that bothers me about people in public like this is when you choose to be a gentleman and hold the door
for someone whether they're behind you and you wait for them or its someone coming in and they dont even acknowledge the fact that you did it for
them. now when that happens i make it a point to say rather loudly "no , thank YOU for letting me hold the door for you"

Classic my friend, truly classic!!!!!!!!!! Alot of people think this but dont have the balls to say it in this politically correct drenched society we
have created for ourselves. There should be no debate on the Nations language, it's fuckin English and if you dont speak it and care never to learn

this bothers me to no end.
i always try to be polite and hold doors,
even when people are far from the door.
then to have some one not acknowledge it, fuckin drives me nuts.
it doesnt have to be a thank you, i'll take a smile or a head nod.

Indeed! Just some sort of gesture is fine. Same when you stop and let people cross the street. Speaking of that, and public annoyance...
Name: "Diagnal Dannys" or "Diagnal Darlenes"
Deffinition: The assholes that are in shopping centers and the walk in front of your car but instead of taking the quick cross straight across the
driving area, they walk diagnal taking 3x as long.
Another one I have a name for....
Name: 3 niggas deep
Def: When multiple (usually 3 or more) people are walking together on the side of the road and walk side by side on a small ass road instead of behind
eachother so no car could possibly get by without going into the other lane. Me and my gf always say "Mother fuckers coming out 3 niggas deep!" in a
hip hop / ghetto type fasion.

I think the whole issue of English is a bit out of hand when you're saying "learn the language or stay out." I mean, dudes, seriously... after a
certain age learning a new language... particularly going from say Chinese to English, is a chore. For that matter, English to Chinese. They are two
languages completely unrelated to each other, and concepts and words don't translate well or 100% usually. Voodoo, with all due respect, that attitude
is just plain ignorant and insensitive. Seems to me most countries in the world are far more accomodating to Americans and their inability to even
learn enough of the native language to pass on a trip... let alone move to their country and not speak the language.

i have to side with voodoo in that if you come to america, the land of opportunity, the least you can do is learn the language. yes spanish and many
other languages are becoming more and more prevalent but jesus christ, if you live here, work here, raise families, at least learn the basics. im not
saying you have to be perfect but dont just say no thanks i'll stick to my native lands language and move somewhere else....this topic is endless

if you come to america for a better life and want to earn american money,
you should at least be able to read/speak the language thats printed on the currency.
i cant speak anyone else, but for me personally... if for some reason i was movin
to another country i would want to learn their language.

Toronto is known as the most multi-cultural city in the world, and I swear like half the people can't speak english and it pisses me off to no end.
You want to move here fine, but learn the fucking language and learn it BEFORE you move here. If I moved to another country where english wasn't the
language, I would learn that country's language, rather than expecting them to cater to me.

call me an asshole but when people do that and have no consideration for drivers, or in other situations, i usually drive straight towards them. ive
always been a kind pedestrian, like if I see im holding up a car from making its turn or holding up traffic potentionally because of another reason,
i'll run for a sec to clear the way. and i move outta the way from cars of i choose to walk on the side of a road its not a fucking sidewalk.
some people need to be door kicked. (you know what that means dont ya? - ive done it =p)
Discipline, what you did wasnt wrong I don't think but maybe a bit harsh, but fuck em' skets.
