Terror dvd

I saw an ad for a Terror dvd described as being an "entire career retrospective." What the fuck????? These guys have been around for for like 3-4 years. When I here the term "career retrospective" I think of a band that's been around for a significant amount of time, like AF or Murphy's Law, or a band like that. Why is it that every fucking band thats been around for more than 6 months feels the need to put out a dvd. Fucking stupid.

On a side note, I bought the new Negative Approach dvd online a few days ago and can't wait till that gets here.

TERROR seems to be a band that had an agenda from the very beginning. It was well planned and well calculated. A career retrospective is nuts. 2 full lengths in the past 4 years is not groundbreaking.

i agree but also feel that in this day and age, bands that survive more than a few albums should be proud of it and its always good to have new stuff coming out from bands you like. but yes, it seems a little premature to be doing a retrospective right now....

dont know why they have to call it a retrospective anyways. just make it a "live" dvd or videos, or a little of everything but dont use a term like that for a band so young...just kind of silly to say, man, its been five long years, lets put it all in perspective before we retire...

I think Vogel made a comment about Carl's departure saying something to the effect that "Im a tough person to get along with sometimes" insinuating that maybe Carl left because he couldnt put up with Vogel anymore. Who really knows though, but I think one of their guitarists just left to be in Hatebreed. The dude from Ringword... Frank something.

Anyway, I just think that there's only so far that Terror can evolve their sound. I guess they could go one of two ways: Get huge like Hatebreed and keep putting out the same album year after year cuz there's money in it, or stagnate, realize theyre not gonna get any larger than they are now and call it a day. Then form new bands.

from terrors website
....Trustkill releases our first ever DVD, "The Living Proof". It has a full set from London with a new song, studio stuff, a bunch of funny bullshitting, interviews and lots of show footage from around the world. It's all completed and it came out amazing, so check it out. The DVD also comes with some cool extra packaging and a coupon for money savings on the new CD"

neither one mentions a career retrospective, the advertising company probably thought it
would sound better to put that in. which like you guys have already said would be kinda ridiculous for such a young band.

i know i am probably one of the few folks here that actually likes terror.
and i will be buying this DVD, its only $10 and supposively comes with a
coupon for their new cd.

the new cd - ?Always The Hard Way? will be released July 25, 2006.

\"thank you very little\"

I like Terror, even though I hear Vogel is a dick and a coke head and sometimes this band is shitty to work with. Probably buy the DVD... why wouldn't I? It's cheap, and cheap is good. Downloaded an unmastered version of the new album.... TIGHT shit, definitely will be picking that up when it comes out.

I like Terror, I just find a retrospective to be really premature at this point.
