i was severly disappointed by this movie for many reasons that would take up pages if i typed it all out. i don't want to bore you with all my bitching. so...just in short, did not like this movie. felt it hurt the series greatly. ghostrider (they played the trailer) looked awful....it's fucking nick cage. i can't take it seriously for that reason alone. i couldn't from the moment i heard about it. I'm banking on Spider-Man 3 and the next movie in the new Batman series to save comic book movies. Also...I hope Bryan left X-Men 3 to do a good job on Superman or I'll be super pissed off. Joss Whedon's approach on Wonderwoman should be interesting, whenever that is coming out.

I really liked this movie... though there were elements that kind of pissed me off... and I hope, if they were to make an X-Men 4(which they obviously left a door open for it), they will rectify with some sort of comic booky impossible out of nowhere weirdness that makes those things I'm not happy with to never have happened in the first place. I enjoyed it though, took my friend's 6 year old son. I'm kicking myself for not sitting through the credits... I'll have to go again... maybe later on today if my wife will let me.

I went to see it again today... Not only did the pre-credit end leave me firmly believing that we haven't yet seen the last of the X-Men, so did the post-credit end.

Also, knowing X-Men, any other character that didn't survive the whole film could come back at any time... so many universes in the X-Universe it's rediculous.

there will. be an x-men 4. it's already been said there will be. wolverine spinoff first. halle berry says she isn't coming back for 4 and won't play storm, so that makes me think 4 will suck even more, as they've already fucked up the good thing they had going with X2.

I don't know, I think Halle will be back eventually... she was really into Storm this time around since she got way more stuff to do.

A series of Wolverine spin-offs would be good, I love the runt but X-Men needs to be about the whole team and not just about him doing most of the shit that needs to get done... know what I mean? Cyke and Jean, Colossus and Storm, Beast and Angel, Iceman and Rogue... they're all important to the X-Men legacy and there have been some GREAT stories featuring those characters.

In fact, I want the Wolverine spin-off to be in Madripoor and I want people calling him Patch because he's wearing an eye patch... and some of the samurai shit from his comic past should be in it too. Maybe a whole thing about the Weapon X program....

Nerd alert!

halle has already stated that she wont' be returning. she said she's done with storm. personally...i wish they had done with her in this movie what they did in the others. she was lacking in x-men 1 and 2. but i didnt' mind as much because everything else was great. they're trying to cram too many mutants in there. god knows who else they'll add for #4.

Yeah, but how the hell can you have X-Men without Storm? She's like the only X-man that didn't leave the team for any significant period of time since she joined....

D'ya think they'd get into making some of the other X-Teams? X-Factor perhaps? X-Force??? Excalibur?

no...not as well known as x-men. plus, many of those characters started off as x-men or became x-men. man...there are a lot of people i could say you couldn't have x-men with other then storm: angel, iceman, cyclops, jean grey, beast....and well, you know what happened to some of them. and they just introduced beast and angel. and iceman really just became an x-man in the movie. i mean...they could do without storm.

This is one series or one type of movie I would never enjoy. It just doesn't do it for me. My neighbor was bummed he couldn't see it on the first day it was released.

I could watch X-Men til the day I die... or at least until it gets too corny to be good anymore.

same here, but i'm usually in the handicapped seats so they're away from people. can't stand people who talk during the movie though. drives me crazy. i'm probably gonna go see it again with my cousin and i will most likely get it on DVD...though i still think it ruined what the series had.
