New AFI
I have been into this band for a long time. Their last album was not a good one in my eyes. So I have to admit I was a little hesitant about this new
one called decemberunderground, but having heard it now I am pleased to say it is a very good album. They have mellowed out in their old age, but none
the less a good album to kick back to with a lot of soul and atmosphere to it. I am shure if you are a fan of AFI you will find december to me a good
listen.

Horrible band. That girl that sings for them would be kinda cute if she didn't look so much like a man though.

as each new cd comes out I have lost interest in the band, I don't wan them to slow down.
Answer That And Stay Fashionable, Very Proud of Ya & Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes are all amazing albums though.
They got tons of sweet old songs, a couple from newer albums are catchy but I haven't heard the new one yet so I hope its got some good ones too.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

all i have is the all hallows ep - i think i got it from my sister in law. didn't do much for me - sounded like something you'd hear on the tony hawk
pro skater soundtrack. although , the misfits cover was entertaining.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I defintely liked Sing the Sorrow but this new disc is just fucking terrible. It isn't that the band changed style either, I don't mind that. It's
just that these songs aren't catchy or memorable in the least. It just goes by and in one ear and out the other. Now that new Born to Lose record, now
that is a record...

The first three albums are gold... especially shut your mouth and open your eyes. I love the shit out of that stuff... everything after has been a big
let down for me.
It's funny, I have younger cousins that got into AFI as soon as MTV told them they were cool, and I was rockin' an old AFI EBHC shirt at family
gatherings like 10 years ago. One of those cousins was telling me about how she went to Warped Tour last year and I was just kind of "Meh, to me
that's not punk rock or what punk is about at all". In fact, I watched that Punk Rock Holocaust movie last night(worst fucking thing every by the way)
and it sealed it for me that Warped Tour is absolute shite.

when he sings "radio" with rancid. to be fair...he had rancid as a backing band.
