I could never get into the Bosstones after they polished up their sound and took it in that more mainstream direction. I fuckin' LOVE their old albums and I miss that era of them, but the latter years were not anything I could enjoy.

can't go wrong with early madness. for the bosstones, i never did get too into the later stuff. all you need from them is "devils night out" and "more noise and other disturbances" and you're set. both great albums.

Devils night out = the greatest SKA album ever, in my opinion.

Seriously man, the ONLY good thing about Sublime is that the main douchebag took himself out.

I jsut picked up to FLOGGING MOLLY that miles from home or whatever. Never got into this type of music but I am now interested. Not bad. Still more of a fan of the TOSSERS though.

Ya i saw them then too but it was with Murphys Law in 1990. they all wore Chucks with the suits. Dickey could barely stand. Back then everyone wore Chucks again. The Bosstones did a couple commercials fro them. I wonder if they have them on youtube or something?
