What do you guys think of this? While I don't really agree with capital punishment it's hard not to sympathize with this guy, I'd probably do the
same. The judicial system cut him some slack with the manslaughter charge as it was obviously pre-meditated.

The only thing that would keep me from doing the exact same thing he did was any doubt about whether that person was actually guilty. From the story
presented there, it seems very unlikely that there was any doubt about what happened and who did it. If someone did that to my daughter and I knew for
sure who they were, I would do the same thing regardless of the consequences.

I would have done the same. He was right to only shoot him once, if he had slaughtered the dude he would have faced a harsher punishment I guarantee.
If you are going to do something like this, make it quick and then plead your case the way he did. The best statement to make is..."If it was your
kid, you would have done the same." There are bound to be at least two or three parents in the jury. No parent would have convicted him of any worse
than he got, even with video proof. This case proves it. Good for him, I just wish the molester could have seen it coming a split second before it did
so he could feel that fear.
