Sun Stroke??
Anyone know any details about Sun Stroke?
I went to the beach today and was outside for a few hours but I ate lunch. I have a burn, but its not horendous. I felt fine all day there and got
home fine. I took a shower sat around for awhile and then a couple hours later I started to feel sick. Dizzy, light headed and sick to my stomach.
Oddly I also feel like I have a sore throat.
Anyone have any suggestions?

This happened to me a few years ago while working in a hot ass warehouse....my skin was burning hot,but I felt like I was freezing
inside,shaking....my head was hurting,I was throwing up and felt dizzy...but I was fine a couple of hours later,after drinking lots of water and
resting.
Honus,thats also kinda like what a bad hangover feels like....just so you know...haha.

that sounds like it. You got to put your body back in cycle. Drink plenty of fluids.

Thanks guys.... I feel better this morning. I ate and drank a bunch last night and went to bed early. Now Im just sore as hell because I havent had a
sunburn in about 18 years! Thats what I get for sitting in the house all the time.

well Im definitly feeling better.... but the sunburn pain is still pretty freeking bad! Ive learned the 'use sunblock' lesson the hard way
unfortunantly! There doesnt seem to be much to releive the pain unfortunantly.

I got sun stroke baaaaaaad years ago at Warped Tour buffalo. All day no shade, just water. Fucking got crispy.
Last year I was 2 hours in the Adelaide sun in summer at the beach swimming to avoid the bullshit aussie heat. By the night, my back was itchy as
fuck & covered in blisters. That's how bad I got burnt hahaha
Aloe Vera works, calamine lotion if it gets itchy as mine did. Drink lots of water too.

my parents took me to a phillies game when i was a kid, the day Steve Carlton's number was retired. Damn that was bad. I was so sick after that . It
was terrible. I am blessed with working in Air conditioned/ humidity controlled areas due to the nature of my job. lus allot of time in friges and
freezers. Working in this shit used to suck. I dont know how my friends who are tradesmen put up with it.
