The Lordz

Picked up their new CD The Brooklyn Way. It is a good blend of punk rock and a bit of hip hop. Tim Armstrong is on one of the songs called Outalw. it is not thug shit at all, lyrics are more about family and friends and growing up and having fun in NYC. They have 4 songs on purevolume right now, have a listen you might like and you might hate it, who knows?

I heard a demo Back Up a few months back and was diggin the rougher sound it had compared to the produced, final version. Still a real good album! They got an original sound and its real refreshing to hear something fun coming from a musical niche that is generally mindless drivel. Its nothing like the transplants either, that was some awful shit.

I agree with 100%, except for the Transplants thing. I have to admit I love the Transplants and was pissed when the broke up. None the less everyone has different tastes.
