Clutch has announced plans to record a new album this fall. In October the group will head to the West Coast to begin recording the effort with Joe Barresi (Kyuss, Tool). A release is expected in early-2007.

I got ot hear some stuff from them. never checked them out. I've heard some stuff played at shows and record stores but never listened to them.

Whats good from them?

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

I am 100% behind everything up to and including Elephant Riders. in fact, Elephant Riders (lyrics are just crazy) and their first album, TRANSNATIONAL SPEEDWAY LEAGUE (hyper as shit) are my favorite. The next two, Jam Room and Pure Rock Fury I listen to, but not as much as the first three. Then the last two, Blast Tyrant and Robot Hive, I really haven't gotten into.

I never pass up a chance to see 'em live, though.

I would start with Transnational Speedway League. From there either their self titled album or Pure Rock Fury.
