what's up, Pringle? Welcome to the Thorp Board. Glad to hear from someone who's seen Slapshot recently - it's been almost 15 years since I have!

Tear It Down is great. Thanx for the free poster too. When I first heard them, it was Sudden Death Overtime when that came out. To me thats still thier best record. Its cool they're back around. Whats your favorite Slapshot record?

When I think Slapshot, I think Taang!'s Step On It LP. It's a great album, and it brings back a lot of great memories from my youth. I think the only other releases I have are B9's Greatest Hits, Slashes And Crosschecks CD and our new one, which I really like a lot.

I mentioned a while ago that I wasn't a huge fan of hits, slashes, crosschecks. I listened to it again recently, and now that I think about it, I recognize that my problem is just that I'm tied to the sound of the old recordings. It's a good record, it just doesn't sound right to me 'cause I'm so used to the old stuff.

The new CD is great. I think "Lets Spread some Fear" is my favorite song on it. Ive seen them live recently (actually Ive been at every show in the US and Europe for the last 2 years) and they are still amazing live!

I cant wait to get the double 7" version of the new stuff!
