Thorp & Sailor's Grave Records SALE

It's Monday. You feelin saucy? Cause we're feelin saucy.

ALL Thorp AND Sailor's Grave CDs are now just $5 each.

Now through October 31. (We may extend it - depends on how the sauce holds up.) The Thorp and SGR stores are one in the same, so be sure to check out releases from both labels and save on shipping.

You know what sucks, I have almost every Thorp/SGR release that I want, and that's a helluva lot. Thankfully there's still a couple I want to get.

Now, Thorp will still make a profit off of selling a cd at $5 each, am I right? Strictly speaking of the actual cost per cd versus the sale price. I wouldnt know how to calculate in the other costs of running a label.

Someone make a banner type thing for it so we can post it on Myspace with a big graphic with some of the band logos in it like the B9 one was.

Any sales on Tshirts coming???

I like the competition for Bridge 9 who did it last week ahha. Atleast Thorp has records I actually want.

Will have to see if my old lady will let me buy stuff :D

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

b9 was definitely an inspiration. i bought like eight cds, three of which i already had as digital copies or on vinyl.

myspace has been in limbo for us for a while, but i'm hoping to get it rolling again soon.
