CLUTCH
Ok. Never got into this band. I heard em many times at clubs before and after shows. Been to parties or bars were people were jamming them out. they
got a pretty big following in my area. Went to school with people who like them. I never gave them the time of day.
However a generous member of this board hooked it up and intrduced me to them. I been jamming TRANSNATIONAL SPEEDWAY LEAGUE: ANTHEMS, ANECDOTES, AND
UNDENIABLE TRUTHS for nearly a full day. Infact I couldn't sleep because well because I had a couple songs in my head. I think I listened a little to
much. this shit put me in a feeling like when I smoked alot of pot. I wonder why the hell I didn't like them back in the day? They would go really
well with alot of beer rolling papers and a bag of weed.
My description is of them is a the stoner stepbrother of Helmet. Or the more talented american version of Godflesh. Am I off? Probably. But keep in
mind It has only been 1 day. I am off to listen to Elephant Riders which I am told is a little more mello or drawn out. Its cool to discover new shit
that I missed. Its like a history lesson that I was never taught until now. whatever the case I am not sure its my thing. I hung up the bong a long
time ago and I really don't want to be reminded of those days. the adult in me says "Dude grow the fuck up and jam this shit out". "Grab some beers
and rock the fuck out." So Sunday it will be CLUTCH and football day. Well see how it goes. I jsut hope my buddies don't want to break out the paint
thinner or whippettes.
Thanks and long live the Thorp Board.

Ya same hear. I never had any desire to get into them. I still am not sure if I like it. Its cool but I don't know. I got to jam it out more.

When I was in the army me and a buddy of mine went AWOL and drove to Texas, we listened to TRANSNATIONAL SPEEDWAY LEAGUE: ANTHEMS, ANECDOTES, AND
UNDENIABLE TRUTHS and CLUTCH for 3 days in his 86 Pontiac Bonneville driving down there.
It was mental.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

great live band as well.

i like everything they put out
my son has clutch on his ipod, and it was not because i told him to. he kinda picked them up in the car.
transnational speedway was a heavier one
the self titled one and pure rock fury are my favorites
