posting from Axis with the Dead Kennedys & the Welch Boys
Its an early show because Axis turns into a dance club at 10:00 or something. The Welch Boys are soundchecking now. DK already saoundchecked and
sounded pretty good. I talked to DH & Klaus and got them to sign all my old DK vinyl. I felt like a dork but they were really cool. I gotta bug Ray to
sign them when he gets back. They went to dinner or something.
Busy night in Boston rock. Mike Mahoney the drummer for the Welch Boys has a cd release show with his other band Over The Edge tonight after this
show!!!

Mahoney is drumming for the Welch Boys now? What a bastard. Good for him. I loved his Blood For Blood site. I e-mailed him right after I got
Wasted Youth Brew. He responded right away. Seemed like a real good guy.

Yes Mahoney is the drummer for the Welch Boys AND for Over The Edge.
The show was good. Welch Boys did a cover of 'the big takeover' by Bad Brains that was awesome!
DK did everything that I would have wanted to hear except Buzzbomb. They were AWESOME guys... really nice. The new singer isnt awesome, but he didnt
totally suck. It was worth going to just so I can know that I saw the Dead Kennedys to the best of my ability (untill they suck it up and really tour
someday... I hope!).
Klause looks like a 70 year old confused geography or literature teacher. Hes about as tall as his bass.
D.H. Looks almost exactly the same!
Ray looks like a 60 year old confused science teacher.
