I have never even listened to them, I couldn't even name a song.
I'm sure I wouldn't like them for the same reasons I can't stand Chaos UK.
As for the pit, I've always been a "if you can't stand the heat, stay outta' the kitchen" kinda' guy. But i'm not into assholes fuckin' people up
either, elbows down, if someone hits the floor pick them the fuck up, and such and such.....thats why the circle pit was so great, you could go nuckin
futs without too much worry of takin someone out.
Keep your stick on the ice.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I like to watch for people throwing cheap shots. I often take it upon myself to knock them on their asses. One look at me usually stops them from
trying any bullshit.

Haha it was only as matter of time, every other band from the 90's is doing it so why the fuck not. Atleast EXC is 100000 times better than that
Freya shit Karl was doing.
Sworn Enemy, Shipwreck, Subzero & Down To Nothing make this show sweet.
And the Belgian dude is definately gonna be siked for this haha.

He's even got new tats now & eyebrows!
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Everyone that talks the shit used to jam out FIRESTORM on the turntable. We know the score. |
Clevo, I'm with you. There was a reason for militant vegan music in that era..... dudes were getting shit on for their beliefs. That tends to provoke
a reaction, this one was musical.
The story was the same with Vegan Reich, Statement, Raid, and Hardball. Those were the pioneers of the vegan hardcore genre.

actually it was all Crass's fault, them and Flux of Pink Indians. (and Chumbwumba back in the day, actually).

I think Firestorm is one of the most, if not the most, misunderstood songs in hardcore. It's not about just fucking up people who use drugs or drink,
not at all. It's about cleaning up the streets of crack dealers and the like... noble sentiment I think. Most neighborhoods would appreciate that
attitude.

I agree uyb, jump pimps and take their money. It's a good way to get a little extra cash AND if you beat 'em severe enough you could get a dangerous
woman abuser off the streets.

That's true, but I don't call that "hardcore" in the sense that vegan hardcore has become a genre all it's own really that appeals, for the most part,
only to other vegans.
Most punks listen to Crass, Conflict and Flux of Pink Indians... and Rudimentary Peni... and never bother to concieve of what they're saying. Some
do... but let's face it, most don't care about the vegetarian aspect of their message.

We didn't do it for the money. There used to be slave trade between here and Toronto.

Yeah, plus the righteousness of the deed obviously.... taking the money is just the spoils of war.

don't get me wrong, we took their money, and whatever other goodies they might have.
but there was some bad shit goin on and the dirty little kids on the street seemed to be the only ones who gave a fuck, cops included (no disrespect
to the officers on here, it was a time and place).
