Local Foods...what ya got.

Since everyone on here is kinda spread out, what "dish" is your area know for?

Chicago kinda makes everything better than everywhere else except the Cheese steak but I'll pick one.

The "Chicago Style" hot dog...

The most perfect hot dog in existance ever since the wheel was invented and man walked upright and threw away his ketchup.

rochester has a thing called a "garbage plate" two hot dogs or hambugrers with homefries and macaroni salad, covered with a hot sauce/meat sauce type deal and whatever else you want. not too original but the name is pretty famous

as far as the garbage plate goes, it starts out as separate foods but then you can mix it as you see fit....

Nothing good here.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

BBQ'd Pork Steaks
Toasted Ravioli
Gooey Butter Cakes

Pork steaks cooked properly is the best tasting meat ever. Yep, ever.
