I'm moving to a desert island.

Well not really...but if any of us where...what 5 CD's would you smuggle with you? Why?

DRI-Dealing With It
First time I heard this it changed the way I heard music. I was brought up on bands like Priest and Sabbath through my father and when a cousin slipped my 11 year old jean jacket and mulleted self a copy it blew me away. This album is still just as good now as it was then and it seemes weird to say that after 20 years its still my favorite album.

Terrorizer-World Downfall
The best written grind record of all time. Such an epic album. The emodiment of everything great about the early Earache releases.

Cold as Life-89-93 demos
Nothing on earth will ever be as hard as these demos, makes the Cro Mags seem like the Cream Puffs. I waited so long to get decent copies of this stuff...when the CD finally came out I had a copy at home, work and in the car so I would always have one near me in the event of an emergency.

Bad Brains-Anything through and including quickness
Its impossible for me to choose, every single note of every single song this band wrote from their inception and up to the last second of the last song on quickness is absolutely flawless. I'd have to close my eyes and just grab a cd.

Johnny Vomit-Extreme Championship Drinking
I started my label kind of by accident to help Justin from Hatecore put out the Breed Apart comp. Even before that I always wanted to do something with this band so it seems kind of fitting that I'm closing things up with their first...and probably only, full length record after 20 years of being a band. The music rages and the lyrics are juvenille to the point of absurdity and if two other people on earth "get it" besides me, this entire past year of hellish delays and mayhem will be worth it.

Its called "Darker Days Ahead", it JUST came out a month or two ago. Its just Jesse and Pete with some new guys and its a mediocre death metal band using the name Terrorizer to try and sell records. They BUTCHER a newer version of Dead Shall Rise.

I saw Oscar singing for Nausea last year, Nausea was the band Oscar, Jesse and Pete had before Terrorizer. Anyway THAT was some amazing shit...I can live without the old Nausea stuff but the new songs they played blew my face off.

They should have never touched that song. That is one of the best grind songs EVER.

5 cds

Sheer Terror- Ugly & Proud
The first album I bought from them and still one of my favorite records of all time.

Discipline- Rejects Of Society
Love this band, and you can't go wrong with a greatest hits comp.

Motorhead- No Remorse
One of the better "best of" records from my all-time favorite band.

Agnostic Front- Cause For Alarm/Victim In Pain
Two classics on one cd from one of the best hardcore bands ever.

Negative Approach- Totall Recall
If I need to explain this than yer on the wrong board.
