I just tore my favorite T-shirt and I feel like I just lost an old friend.

I know, I know, I'm being melodramatic about it. It's a Dead Kennedys shirt I designed and screened in high school myself, I've worn it so much, cut off the sleeves, I've spilled every liquid imagineable on it (alcoholic and non), I've probably dribbled a bit of puke on it, I've tossed it around, it's got two tiny holes in it, it's got slight pit stains in it....Fuck. So I was just at the gym wearing it as a workout shirt and taking it off in the locker room to change into not sweaty clothes and as I was pulling it off my back, the back just got a gaping hole in it, not even worth trying to sew up because the fabric is so beat that it curls a little. Fuck fuck fuck. Can't wear it again, but I'll never throw it out.

That sucks, I had an old Subhumans-Religious Wars t-shirt that went AWOL. I'm sure its in my house somewher, but its been missing for a couple years. Not that it would fit me, but it my fit my girl one day.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I hate atrocities like this. I had this adidas hoodie....one of the most comfy articles of clothing I've ever owned. I was eating chicken kiev at a restaurant and I shit you not 3,756 gallons of butter sprayed out of this thing like some special effects chicken kiev and soaked the entire front of the hoodie in butter. Impossible to get out...felt like having a hoodie funeral.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's ever felt like this about an article of clothing.

I wish I could have taped what I now call "The Butter Incident of '06"

I still don't understand how that much butter could have scientifically fit in that chicken breast.

I've lost a few great ones over the years. These days I tend to "retire" some shirts before they reach the destruction point.

I wrecked one of my prized beauties, instead of tossing it, took the logo and turned it into an oversized patch.
