How old were you when you found out who Santa really was?

I forget how old I was.
I had to keep it a secret though from my younger brother so I didn't ruin things.
I think the other neighborhood kids spilled the beans.
My son is 9 and still beleives in Santa. I'm trying to hold on to that innocence for a little whil. Before I know it he will be a teenager.

Santa don't visit the dirt poor....so Santa was just a TV character and someone the other kids talked about to me.When I was really young,I remember
my mom explaining to me why Santa always forgot about us....haha....my parents always tried to get us something,but Santa always fucked us over.

See, now that's precisely why I hate the whole notion of Santa Claus... here it is based, at least in part, upon this dude Saint Nicholas who gave to
the poor... and now rich motherfuckers get more shit than the poor kids! And the idea is that if you've been good he gives you shit and bad some
coal... so what the fuck? Are the poor kids less good than the rich ones?
I hate materialist society... took the CHRIST outta CHRISTmas, now it's just X-Mas like on Futurama.
