Tower Records closing
means there are deals to be had! I stopped in the store on Broadway and 60-something street tonight. All of the cds are 75-80% off so I went
shopping. Of course I got stuff for myself even though I should have been looking for potential gifts for other people.
I got:
Gorguts - Obscura $3
Lair of the Minotaur - Cannibal Massacre $1.80
Lagwagon - Resolve $3
Lye By Mistake - Arrangements... $3
Swarm of the Lotus - Sirens of Silence $3
Terror - Always the Hard Way $3
at the bottom of the receipt it says "you saved 67.14 today!"
NOT BAD!!!
The store is only open for 2 more days though. Im thinking of going back tomorrow!

i went there a few weeks ago when they first annouced the closing sale.
at the time cds and dvds were only 15% off, which at tower prices is still pretty expensive.
now that its more off, i'll have to stop back.
Badvibes, doesnt the Mrs. work at tower?
if so i hope she isnt getting screwd by them closing.
\"thank you very little\"

I been meaning to get in there... I wonder if they've got any of those Master Replicas Force FX lightsabers for major discounts...

They closed shop in Toronto years & years ago, I used to pick up so many sweet records & magazines there. Definately a sore spot once they went cuz
Sunrise & HMV prices were pretty shit and none of them had the magazine/books either.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
