Word to the wise....If anyone's planning on going to the Jersey show, it might not happen because that place just got shut down for a ton of fire code violations.

I was actually thinking of going to that show in NJ too. I havent seen Bane since before the new album came out. Bloomfield Ave Cafe does kinda suck though. Especially in the summer. That place is brutally hot.

Yeah, shows have been happening there for a while. I don't mind it so much, but yeah, it's AWFUL in the summertime. Come to think of it, it gets pretty brutal even in the winter. I'll keep my ear to the ground and let you guys know.

Heard Bane a couple of times, but never understood what the big deal is all about. I thought they sucked.

Ambitions is really good melodic hardcore (kinda like Ignite)
The Geeks are like from Korea or somewhere (Asian version of Gorilla Biscuits, Bold, etc)
Bane-saw them at CBs a while back and was not impressed. I like them, but live that night they were average.

Bane's lyrics were what first really drew me to them. Theyre not all posi, cheesy or cliche. They just have an interesting way of wording things sometimes... about religion, life and death, suicide, "the scene" among other issues. That's pretty much why I love Bane. That and Ive never had a bad time at one of their shows. Again that sorta ties into finding a connection with their lyrics for me.
