Hehe. We were doing the gas chamber one time and our "leader" in his ultimate wisdom, decided we should run back in our poopy suits. Well we were all
covered in gas and as soon as we starting running we created a nice cloud of tear gas all around us. Good times. Remember to move quickly but

I'm an HT. We have to go throught it at DC school for Basic Engineering Common Course. HT, DC, and MR all go on the "fun" team which means we are
first in and last out.
Tear gas feels like shards of glass ripping your eyes and lungs mostly, but it can also irritate pretty much any moist membrane or area of skin on
your body. All the mucus in your nose will end up on your shirt and vomiting happens alot. It will have you dancing in your boots!

and OC is MACE times ten, imagine having the hottest of spicy foods grinded deep into your eyeballs and you've hit the surface of how it feels. You
then have to function in a CQB (close quarters combat) situation after being spritzed with this devilish shit. Kinda fun, but not really.

The description of OC was right on so I will believe you with the GAS description as well. How long did the GAS linger in your mouth nose and eyes?

Actually the gas is gone fairly quickly if you follow directions on how to decontaminate. I'd say it's about a half hour or so to totally feel alright
again. That shit is nowhere as nasty as OC. They make sure you know exactly what your doing to someone when you blast em with that shit. When we were
going through our training, they showed photos and explained different scenarios, one happend to be someone who got an excessive and point blank shot
of the shit, it ended up causing permanant blindness. His eyes were almost completely removed because of the damage. He kept em, but they were almost
completely black, almost like frostbite looks. Nasty stuff it is, when you get zapped, it's serious business.
