$6,700. Can you fucking believe this? I have a small 2 bedroom ranch home. Seems like I'll be doing this myself. Or at least getting more quotes.

When I did roofing we also did siding, and obviously varies on the house but you are getting raped for a rancher. Usually the price goes up if it's a
multistory building because you have to set up jacks and planks, and obviously more material.

Get more quotes. We got 7 or 8 quotes for our roof and they varied from 2500 to 8500. Big difference. If a contractor doesn't really want the job
he'll jack the price, and if you accept he's well compensated for having to run an extra crew.
